What we are building

We bring together ways to find hobby groups and lessons with Local Buzz and Hobby Journal stories edited by our team. The goal is not simply to build a larger directory, but to offer a trustworthy starting point for taking part in everyday Los Angeles.

English first, open across languages

English is the default service language, with Korean also supported. Hobby-ist is designed as an open local service where different cultures and interests can meet—not as a closed community for one language group. Activity languages should be clearly described so people can decide whether a gathering fits them.
